Known as the dapper Don because he sported fancy clothing, he was eventually convicted for 13 murders, racketeering, obstruction of justice, hijacking, conspiracy to commit murder, illegal gambling, extortion, tax evasion, loan sharking and other crimes in 1992. He was sentenced to life in prison where he died 10 years later.
